6 WAYS ON HOW MUSIC HAS HELPED AND IS HELPING ME

♫♪” And I don’t want the world to see me, ‘coz I don’t think that they’d understand. Where everything seems to be broken, I just want you to know who I am.” ♫♪

I love music even when it doesn’t seem to return the same interest on me as I am not a great singer - but I can sing somehow.

AS MY PLAYMATE

When I was just a little kid, we used to live in an isolated spot in our hometown where neighbors are 1km or more away from our house. Imagine how lonely it feels back then plus the fact that electricity was not yet available in the area. My uncle has told me that during those times my hobby was to sing out loud when darkness is about to fall. According to him, they don’t know the title and the tune of the songs I was singing, they were just happy hearing me having fun even when I was alone.

AS MY EXTRA TALENT

As trying hard as I am, since I really love to sing I am fond of joining choral groups in and out of the school during my elementary and high school days. I remember using my singing capability when I was campaigning for Student council. I even tried to sing solo in a commencement exercises once before.

AS MY REVIEW BUDDY

Back in college, I have discovered that I can study even better while there’s music playing to my ears.

AS MY NANNY IN ACTION

Lullabies play a big role in taking a baby to sleep, and that’s how music has helped me when Coi was still a baby. Until now, we still love to sing together as part of our bonding moments.

AS MY STRESS AND BOREDOM RELIEVER

Even when there are lot of reports and works lined up every day, with the help of music playing in my office laptop; it makes me not notice the bulks of task I have to accomplish.

AS MY FRIEND

Music has indeed become part of my life. Through happiness and sadness, it acts as my friend; helping me to release any kind of emotions I am dealing with. Whenever I am happy I sing, when I am sad I sing, when I feel empty those lyrics and melodies fill me up.

Music has become my constant companion and has never left me no matter how tough the time is. Music is my invisible buddy who knows me better than anybody else, only if it can speak.

BadmintonTeam Tag - Fartners

August 17 when we (Isay and Me) registered to join the badminton women doubles event for our upcoming sports fest. The following day we had our first practice. I am hoping Isay did not make a wrong decision in choosing me as her partner. She was one of the defending champions in the past. I don't want her to be put to shame; with that I should do my best.

In a game, there is always a winning party in the end. But according to my partner, though "to win" is our priority still "to enjoy" is our secondary objective. While we have to play the game so seriously, we should accept the fact the we are not perfect in any sense. What is important is that we have exerted our best effort to compete. If we lose it then it is basically part of the game but if we make it to the top then that is simply the sweetest thing about a battle. However, we should always be positive in our outlook and must maintain within us the virtue of a healthy competition, keep within ourselves the etiquette of a professional player.

We have already passed the medical clearance portion and we are now looking forward to having enough time to practice as we should still improve our weakness es and strengthen our chemistry as a team.

Well, all these things I have mentioned are just a background of what I have actually thought of. I was thinking of our team's name and I happened to consider "Fartners" which was derived from our group's name "Tropang Utot". Tropa means group and utot means fart, and since it is just the two of us; we are just partners. Partners with an "f".

Back to Book

When I was cleaning our sleeping area during the last weekend, I happened to get through my mini library. My attention then was caught by a book which was a gift for me.

It was given by my ex-boss and friend in the past New Year. I therefore realized that I am not yet done reading it and so I took it from there, put it on my table and brought it to office this morning.

Prior to going home after work, I read some of its pages which had really made me laugh.

Bo is indeed one of the best writers I have ever known. He is even good in preaching and all. I promise to read it within the week despite my busy blogging schedule as some of my office mates are waiting to have it borrowed from me.

By the way, my ex-boss has her blog as well. So please find time to visit here at Meowl: All in A Cat's Life.

This will be my share for:

Friday the 13th Ignored

Last night was just another gimmick night for some. But since it fell on the 13th day of the month others preferred to stay at home.

According to some beliefs, Friday the 13th is a day of bad luck and misfortune while there are people who prove it to be on the opposite - they say that its a lucky day instead. If you're going to ask me, I abstain. It depends upon my self intuition.

Tropang Utot still went out in spite of but I didn't join them. Not as it is a Friday the 13th but because Macoi was sick and I was also not feeling well and was not in the mood yesterday. In short, I missed the fun.

To reward myself even at home, I just satisfied my cravings for:
Though I miss my friends and our Friday night sharing, I just enjoyed the moment eating this snack while my mind's at peace in personally taking care of Coi.

What to Wear on Fridays???

For the past few days of being offline I thought I have a lot to be written and  now I wonder why I ran out of topics.

For the reason that tomorrow is a Friday and wash day for us. I decided to write on choosing what to wear in days like this.

For employees who need to be in uniforms regularly, Friday is the only chance for them to show their "fashionista" (people with passion for fashion) images. They tend to dress up more like a movie or TV actors and actresses as how we usually tease our friends.

Well, it is basically alright to wear something of your best pick but make sure not to exaggerate your looks. Try not to be perceived as an attention-seeker. Do not overstress yourself to caught people's attention. There are only two (2) outcomes about it, either you will be praised with respect or you will be the icon of embarrassment.

Show off the real you in the simplest term. Anyway, beauty is in the eyes of the beholder, if you are beautiful inside and out you need not be dressed like a queen or king to be noticed.

Put on something you can pleasantly carry with comfort and ease. And above all, do not divert from the dress code that your company implements. Though on your casual look, strive still to be professional in your thoughts, words and deeds.

Nearest Starbucks in CEPZA

not a good pose for me, i was trying to remove the foreign matter lodged in between my teeth (in short "tinga")
I have not tasted again an SB coffee for quite some time now, since I have migrated to my new work place in the province of Cavite. That is more or less five (5) months already.

Thanks to Madam Jackie for the opportunity she has offered. I really enjoyed it more than ever as it was free. Hehe!

This took place last Friday, August 07, 2010. It was actually an unplanned getaway. During the same day we just decided to go to Tagaytay for a "Bulalo" (bone-marrow) dinner. Seven (7) of us went there, with one (1) missing - Dante.

Our first stop was in GreenATS Bulalohan, there we had two (2) big bowls of  Special Bulalo Soup and a plate of Spicy "Sisig"(marinated, boiled, grilled and fried pig face) matched with rice. We stayed there for an hour or so after which we went straight to Robinson's Tagaytay for the SB treat.

Yes, Starbucks Tagaytay is the nearest SB coffee shop in Cavite Export Processing Zone Authority (CEPZA).

from left to right: Isay, Usyo, Cel and Madam Jackie

me and xye... where's metz???
We were the noisiest customers then as we filled the shop with fun and laughter.

Movie for Dadi

I was thinking of a film to recommend, I googled about it and my attention was caught by this:
Just another Drew Barrymore movie - Going the Distance. What's exciting about it is that it's about a long-distance romance. What a coincidence! It might bear different lines of story but I am somehow in a situation alike having a distant relationship with my fiance in UAE. So I would probably end up recommending this for him to watch. Coming soon dadi. Hope this will be shown in there. =)

And this is my entry for this week's GT, click on the badge below for more movie suggestions.

Happy 7S Time

I am just so proud to share that our company (APC by Schneider Electric) is really actively implementing Good Housekeeping methodology in our facilities. Every Friday, 10minutes before 6pm, we are anticipating to hear the 7S chant recited by an employee assigned coming from any department.

Last Friday, I was asked to do it but fortunately I got exempted because of colds. And today I no longer have something to reason out. I had no choice but to do it though I was some kind of tense.

My script
I was a shaking a bit but I was able to speak in a manner clear and smooth to those who listen. Glad to hear positive comments on how I delivered the piece amidst little irregularity of the sound system. Thanks to Allan Buena for the encouragement, to Tita Mariz and Tito Dodi for being my coaches and for my friends and colleagues for the moral support you have extended; this has really helped to further boost my self-confidence.

Budgeting

Today is just another payday. This day doesn't make me excited at all becuase I know the money will just slip through my hands. Numerous bills are awaiting to be paid and month-end is even more difficult for me as my housing loan amortization becomes due at this date. Budgeting is not really fun especially when you have nothing to be allotted or you're even expecting a deficit.

from clipart
Really it is just one of the ironies in life, you've got to work hard to spend. Glad I have Coi with me. Just a gentle call of "momi" from him eases me somehow. I just love to be a mom for Coi. Hope I can continue giving him anything he needs.

And I am wishing for more opps please.

In Need of A Camera?

I am a sentimental type of person who loves to look at everything I have kept which reminds me of something, be it a stuff or anything I have held in reserve particularly those photos of events or some special occasions I have been part of.

I love to take pictures but never did I own any camera. I have been dreaming of one before but I was discouraged with the fast pace of technology thinking that I won’t be able to keep a model that’s updated as time goes on. So in order to capture special moments of an extraordinary situation, I have considered the idea of renting a camera instead.

I have learned of a company offering this kind of service – camera hire. Isn’t it a well thought-out business? From there, you can choose from variety of equipment rental such as video camera hire, camcorder hire, or even canon lens hire at the lowest possible rates. They have lots of high-end and renowned brands of video and still camera selection from which you can pick the kind that perfectly fits a certain occasion. They can also help you decide by assessing your need.

Not only that, accessories hire, Apple hire and studio hire are also part of the rental services that they offer. Have you tried availing services alike? You better try it and enjoy taking scenes which will soon remind you of those memorable and precious moments spent with your loved ones without worrying on how to get hold of an equipment of finest quality.

I am just so glad there is something like Camerent which delivers such an easy and reliable alternative. Come on and be one of those pleased and satisfied clients!

For more details, you may visit http://www.camerent.co.uk. You may also follow them on twitter at http://twitter.com/Camerent.

Terrible Experience at Porter Restaurant Bar

This blog does not actually intend to ruin the credibility of this bar but this should serve as an eye-opener for them.

Last Friday night after office, we decided to unwind. We have planned to go out for days already and we were so excited. Excited to have fun, relax and do some personal sharing. Prior to leaving the office, we came up to two choices, either here or there. Hehe! Kidding aside, it could either be Porter House or Q-Point.

So the four (4) of us left, Usyo, Dante, Xyra and myself. We have chosen to go to Porter House since it will be closer along the way. We just rode on a public utility jeepney, encountered a bit of traffic until we get to Tejero intersection (Gen. Trias) where you can find the place. We were entertained by a bouncer at the entrance area and there we paid P50 entrance fee. Since there was this admission fee we expected a touch of class. We proceeded to the second floor and there we met the things that we have disputed.

We were actually the very first customers of the night. We asked if we can settle at the 3rd floor where nipa huts are situated  but we were not allowed. We had no choice but to occupy the second level. There we tried to choose the best spot but when we were about to take the seats we were told by the waiter "boss that couch is intended for customers with minimum of P1,500.00 order". How come? Do we have to order stuff amounting that much at the very instance?

Trying to control ourselves, we took the seat the waiter gave us instead. Believe it or not, we were seated as if we were in a PUV sitting side by side. A bit pissed-off we started to place our orders. We were offered with a promo full of limitations. Two buckets of a single variant of beer for a free "pulutan"? What if we like SML and SMSI and SMPP mixed? That can't be. I had no plans of drinking alcoholic beverages that night as I still have colds and slight fever. When I ordered for a pineapple jiuce, it was not available, orange juice, not available as well. A lot of things were not available, so much irritated I drunk the strong ice and finish three of them in a matter of minutes. I also asked my companions to finish everything that they ordered and invited them to get out of that place. I can no longer bear the kind of service they have and I really have no plans of going back there. The service isn't good, the price isn't worth it, the place isn't relaxing.

So much have been said about the not so good experience at the Porter House we transferred to Q Point right after. There we found the things that we were looking for in contrast to what we've got at our first stop. We relaxed, had fun and stayed at Q Point till midnight. Sharing successful,at least we were able to release some of our emotions. Thanks to Tropang Utot for being such good buddies. Till next time. Hope we will be complete by then.

APC Swimming Getaway 2010

I guess it should have been entitled Summer Getaway instead only if it was done on the exact season. It may be a bit late but it is worth to be remembered. Thanks God for letting us enjoy the day. We had fun despite some petty challenges that we have encountered.

There were 24 buses rented for the event (including the spare). I was assigned to bus number 23 - the last bus to leave the office apart from the spare unit. We were initially instructed to leave by 6:20am but we left at already 7:30am. We were supposed to wait for ten (10) persons but only one (1) came.

Inside the bus are two (2) bus marshalls, one (1) first aider, one (1) security personnel, one (1) passenger, the driver and me as the Emergency Responsiveness Team (ERT) member. We were as if candies wobbling in a jar. We can sit anywhere we want, we can even lie down if we chose to as there were really lot of vacant seats.Imagine a 45-seater bus with only 7pax load including the driver. As we enjoyed the overflowing seats, we also took the liberty of getting the food allotted for 45 persons.

About 930am when we reached the venue. The place is nice and enough to accommodate our population except that we really can't position ourselves so close to one another so the arrangement appeared to be by group per facility. We're more than a thousand employees gathered there.

The program started with games, followed by bands playing (a band formed by employees and the one rented for additional entertainment), then a message from our General Manager. I guess the swimming started as soon as some of them arrived which was as early as 8am.

Lunch was set at around  11am. The food were abundant and teeming composed of Pork Adobo, Fresh Lumpia, Grilled Tilapia, Fresh Fruits and soft drinks. After eating, I decided to joined them swimming though I still don't know who will be my constant companions. When I had my outfit changed, I was invited by the group of HR personnel to come with them. And so we did the swimming, tried almost all of the pools around including the lazy river. We also enjoyed the Giant slides though we were scared at first. We had fun until we decided to get up from water at around 2pm. After which we packed up, had our PM snacks and immediately led ourselves to our designated bus ready to go home. We left the venue at around 3pm. On our way home, only five (5) of us were left on bus 23 as the first aider and the other bus marshall went home earlier. Floppy as it is and feeling so tired we just sleep on our way except for the driver of course.

I got home by 5pm, done a little unpacking and fixing of my things and I proceeded to sleep.-Sleep until Sunday morning.

I enjoyed the event but I think I will enjoy it most when my constant buddies are around. I missed the "tropang utot" last Saturday.

Advanced Knowledge in MS Excel an Advantage

Knowledge in computer has been a basic requirement for most office work post but having an advanced skill in MS Office applications is a great advantage.

I remember when I was applying for my first job. I was some kind of nervous during that time basically because I was not yet confidence about the learning I have gained about computers. Come to think of it, I actually didn’t get enough of it from school. Admittedly, we were in 2:1 ratio back in college – two (2) students in one (1) computer or even worse. However, I am not blaming my Alma Mater (I am proud to be former Iska). I believe learning comes from personal determination.

Since I am still greatly fascinated in computers as I was a frustrated IT, my interests for it never fades. Therefore, when I was finally hired by my first employer I was so excited to possess my own computer at office which I can set-up my preferred desktop background and all.

Other than that I was really eager to work on MS applications particularly o Excel on how the stuff can help to simplify office works. And so with the day to day experience I learned a lot, be it a something taught by my boss who is a superior Excel user or brought about my own discovery.

I love to explore as long as “Ctrl Z” is activated. Hehe! Kidding aside, it is because I believe that most of the things you want to do about your Excel report can be done. You just have to know how to do it. I never had a professional training on Excel but I can now consider myself an above-average or an advanced user of it. I can even now teach colleagues on how to use some of the functions and other commands on the application. Furthermore, I have already become a keyboard user, which for me is even faster that by clicking a mouse as you need not regularly shift your hands and fingers from one point to another.

I know some more advanced training can still make a difference but every time I encounter problems and all in this regard I just make use of the question mark tool – the help utility which aids to resolve troubles that come across. From what I have read the last few days, the latest version of MS Office is now available - the MS 2010 which acts as a successor of MS 2007. I am somehow comfortable at MS 2003 but I know the latest version has features which have really improved the functionality of the old ones. It is just a matter of further familiarity.

FiSS Blessing And Inauguration

June 24 is not just Macoi's bday, not just Saint John's feast but also a day to remember for APC by Schneider Electric as the new Finance Shared Services (FiSS) Office was blessed and inaugurated.

This is one of the reasons why I didn't skip for work and had the celebration of Macoi's birthday done on Friday instead. Aside from the consideration of making the day more enjoyable for my expected visitors -  my office mates and college friends.

The event was attended by the entire Local Finance Team along with some of other Department's officers and management team, few third party guests and the Respectable Philip Woodburn who's the main man of the occasion.

We were directed to come in formal business attire and so we did. The program started with the acknowledgment of the presence of guest and visitors and next to it was the Prayer blessing by the Priest from the Main door till the green ribbon was cut. With few candles lit the sanctification with the holy water for the entire office area immediately followed. The throwing of coins was also done to complete the blessing tradition from where I was able to catch 9pcs of P5 coins (obviously a total of P45).  After that a speech from Miss Myrna Asistores was delivered and subsequently from Philip Woodburn.

Next to it was the most awaited part. Eating Time with food in buffet set-up -- pancit, baked macaroni, empanada, fresh lumpia, chicken lollipop and fruits and tiny muffin for the dessert. Yummy was the Pritchon  (Pritong Lechon from Pritchon Corporation)which some of us have tasted for the first time matched with cold soft drinks in can. This was uniquely served chopped and wrapped with fita bread topped with a sauce of your choice (can't recall the varieties though).

Catering courtesy of Doyet's Canteen

We had fun eating really as always. Of course an event couldn't get any better without the picture taking. One of my favorites as well.

Isn't it obvious??? But I won't claim to be obsessed maybe just a picture addict.

some of Finance's boys and girls

Below are few IT men captured in the scene and me, xy and metz dealing with the plate.

I don't know how Paolo did the shot to appear like this

But the best of all photo is the "wacky" moment - my trademark replicated by the group smiling with their tongue out and a peace sign.
And so I shouted "wacky" this time and will do it over and over again.

This Time I've Had Enough

From enough of time to complete my tasks at home last weekend. This time Ive had enough of:

1) SLEEP

They say that you must spend at least 8 hours to have enough quantity of sleep and I think I had it last night as I got into bed around 11pm and woke up by 7am. And it feels just right. But sometimes it's not just the quantity that counts but the quality as well. Though I had a headache which brought me to sleep earlier, I had my whole sleeping tired uninterrupted as Macoi was not beside me. I am not saying that I am happy about it though. Yet I am thankful that I had the chance to do so while knowing that Macoi has slept better in his place last night. It was some kinda humid in our sleeping area. In this case, I guess it's synonymous that I had enough of rest even though I almost came in late for work - like last two minutes and the bell will ring.

2) FOCUS

That enough of rest I had led me to some sort of a little direction to work on my tasks at office. Despite the fact that I was in a RUSHian and URGENTinian mode. I was able to make it to finally submit some special project documents needed for a certain application. I just wish that those papers were accepted and validated. Anyway, it's my first time and there's always a first time from which we can learn from.

3) EXERCISE

I have been exerting effort to achieve a normal BMI and so I do some sort of jogging, walking, running, jumping almost every morning. And since I've cited that I got up at 7am today so I never had the time to do it which I really intended. It is because I knew and I have prepared myself to go to badminton tonight. And it happened. It's the kind of game I want where I sweat a lot. I had to change shirt after the first game because you can really squeeze it and have a bottle of water which came out from my body. It is indeed the kind of exercise I am craving. Enough for me to burn fats and calories - a greater chance for me to reduce weight.

Not to mention that I also did play a little of table tennis during our lunch break. It is undeniably enough of work out.

Hope next time I would have enough time to blog as well. Feeling sleepy now. Just would like to share some pics taken when I was actively playing and joining Badminton tournaments with my ex-officemates way way back. :)

Tropang Utot's Friday Night Gala

June 11, 2010 as if an advance Independence Day's celebration of the group. Independence as we were like imprisoned for more than a week that we never went out even once in our lunch breaks due to our busy working schedules.

Finally, we came up to a common interests, common likes to a common destination - to have dinner and play at our fave fun venue.

Six (6) of us went to SM Rosario, at least a nearby place we decided to go to. First stop was for me to shop for an important item while others went straight to a Pizza restaurant to order for our food. We shared for baked pasta and a pizza with hot dog which happened to be Cel's treat. The dinner was really really fun and the food really made us full. Believe it or not the last piece was not even touched and we even had it took out. Who did take it? Who else but me. Nyahaha!

The best part of course is the picture taking, Cel, Isay and Usyo as if in a pizza commercial eating Pizza hut while portraying Greenwich's television ads. Wacky me, xy and dan with shirts at same dark colored shades and eyes of the same sizes.

After a series of teases and laughter, we went up to our play place where we did basketball shooting and car racing games. We were supposed to sing as well in a videoke room but never had the opportunity. The rooms were all reserved. After more or less 30 tokens we ended up sweating. At least it happened to be another sort of exercise for me. Wahehe!

And so we decided to go home as it was already late. When we looked at the glass walls then we found out that it was raining so hard. No choice but to go home really. Haha! There was this plan which did not push through - it's a secret without clue.

Despite the heavy rains we left the mall with our next gathering out set - something to do with pampering activities. With that, thanks guys for sending me home and thanks for the last piece of pizza which you let me take out for Macoi.

Till the next gala.

Repost from FB_APC-Finance Outing Part 3

At last... though I feel really tired and sleepy I still have to keep my promises...

Others might have already missed this night... Sorry for super late me...

You may blame it to Cel, for she's a newbie on FB whom is so excited for the outing pics so I had to prioritize uploading them... Good that you can now relate to those scenes I've mentioned in my previous notes...

So what's tonight's topic??? continuation of the continuation...

Well, well, well... Finally, silence has been broken... He already joined us... He??? Who's He??? Is he a he or a she???

I can now say that the chaos has been partially resolved... he finally admitted that he can somehow recall what he has done except for what he said... that he's just joking but the truth is he's a liar...

The ball is already with "her" right now, if she can completely accept the apologies... anyways, this may be a sensitive topic... To those who don't know about it... Sorry... amin-amin lang un...

Now I would wanna get back to the funny side of the story...

Remembering one the funniest moments captured by Te Shie's high-tech camera - Tin and the Watermelon seed on her face at a wacky pose... Nyahaha!

Winder who wasn't really aware of a stolen shot of him... and now so worried that he might be the center of attraction here in FB notes... Wahehe!

The scenes to be revealed further by Xyra which we really have no idea...

What else did I forgot??? Maybe we should now look at the pictures...

Bye for now... See you folks later...

hanapin ang butong pakwan sa noo ni tin...

Repost from FB_APC-Finance Outing Part 2

As promised... I should write some things about the outing tonight... as picked from comments and moments remembered this day...

As expected, everybody was excited to see more pictures taken during the outing... the pool, the plants-the well-landscaped place, and of course the peeps who were there - their poses, the smiles, the wacky pics and some stolen shots...

Particularly, Usyo with his butt forward, Metz covering his top exposing something in the bottom, the captured tequila shot of Tito Dodi, the photogenic smiles of Cel, the as if oblation pose of Theodie, the unbalanced leggings of Isay, sexy poses of flawless Xyra, the half body ID pic of Mam Mhie (peace... accdg to Tita Mariz.... hehe!), the hippo me and everybody who were so obviously addicted to picture taking... nyahaha!

But the additional spice of the happening were the punchlines such as "shitchirya", "loko to ah", "badtrip tong mga to", "parang tanga to", "lasing kaba", "pinagttripan ako ng mga to"... Who uttered these words? Secret! these should be left to those who stayed till the end... Hihi!

Well... as people deserve some respect this post is not yet done unless everything has been settled between or among... till next note guys...

Repost from FB_ APC-Finance Outing Part 1

i had fun... really i did and i am looking forward for more get-aways with APC peeps...

THE VENUE - the place is nice... perfect for private gatherings... we're just so fortunate that our swimming sked is already done on rainy days, so we had it almost exclusively for us...

it isn't too far... located along a public road in Gen. Trias, Cavite... it is a hotel and a resort in one... there's also a spa which u can enjoy in affordable rates...

the room that we availed is just so simple but elegant - can be a honeymoon venue as well ;-)

the pool is just right, the water isn't so cold...

the place is worth the price... good pick!

THE FOOD - MAIN MENU -whew! i just can't forget the spicy chicken feet (c/o Tita Mariz - eaten by Usyo for the first time) which made me sweat during dinner time, not to mention the CPA (Chicken Pork Adobo by Tito Dodi) with matching eggs, sisig (by Te Wowie), chicken lollipop (by Mam Mhie), grilled jumbo hotdogs, pork barbecue and embotido which really at their best taste ever (don't know whom to account the rest)... haha! would you believe I still enjoyed some of them at home? (take out etu - sayang naman kesa itapon)...

SNACKS - i just love the zeb-zeb... the baked potato chips and all we had on the road and during drinking session...fruits were also available, melon, watermelon and mango with matching alamang... yum! yum!

DRINKS - all time favorite sodas to match the sumptuous dinner while we had red wine, tequila, and beers (RH & SML) for the drinking session... guess who got drunk??? of course not me... I acted as the tanggera for a bottle of tequila...

THE PEOPLE - If i'm not mistaken we are more or less 30heads (from Payroll, A/P, PFA and FA groups) who went there but 14 of us were left to spend overnight swimming... I may not completely know their names this time (sooner I will) except for my constant canteen companions (Xy, Isay, Usyo, Dante, Metz and Cel) but I enjoyed being with them...

THE ACTIVITIES - Picture taking will always be a part of happenings like this... Thanks for the high-tech cam brought by Te Hersie and hubby Sir ___ (Sowee! not that familiar yet)

Swimming as the main purpose was really fun- I started to swim about 2am and stopped at 4am... two hours in the water while having girl's talk with isay... Cel was able to learn floating...

Drinking Session - After several rounds of tequila we had bottoms up glasses of SML... the 24bottles of beers did not suffice so Usyo and Dante had to buy for more which includes RH - Dante's fave vitamins... Nyahaha!

Isn't it that I am too excited to write about it... A lot of things I would really want to write but will have it done probably tomorrow night (June 08, 2010)... I shall be updated with more of the comments coming from those who have gone for this outing...

Job well done for the organizers - our boss(es) and all...
